share holders

has anyone thought, the club goes into admin, Mr martin makes an offer to the admin for some little donation. He writes of his debts he then get the club to himself , So what happens to us mugs that brought shares in the club. as far as i know the money we invested in the clubs goes down with the old SUFC. so has Mr Martin not only ripped the club off, has he also ripped the heart out of the club by cheating the people that tried to help by investing in shares? the more I think about what Martin has done to SUFC. the worst it feels i belive its time he showed his true colours and tell us what he has really done. Or what would be better is if he sold the whole thing to someone that has the money to build a ground and a team.
what do you think

If anyone thought that a share was anything other than something to hang on the wall and a ticket to the AGM then I have some magic beans that I'd be happy to sell them.

First of all, this is purely hypothetical as it seems we won't be going into administration.

I agree with Beefy, but the fact that the share prospectus said that the funds would be used for investment in new players was mis-leading at best.

Surely the legal people / accountants / directors who signed off on that have to be liable (for a very small amount seeing as it was such a dismal failure anyway) to those people who did invest (in the event we do go into administration).

I think Ron did mention this in the past. The share option had a take-up that was a small fraction of what was expected and what was raised was invested in the squad (although I'm struggling to remember anyone we paid money for two summers ago)
