Seen the date?

I assume everyone's seen the date, so who's going to be the first to put up an April Fools thread that gets us all going....?

Shame the transfer window's closed!

In news to surprise fans of Southend Utd, works have today been completed on the Fossetts Farm development and fans can now look forward to 8th April when Brighton will be the first team to visit the new stadium.
Southend chairman Ricky Martin, has been very pleased at the speed which the development was completed, especially considering the largest project that the builder had carried out to date was a new porch for one of Mr Martins relatives in Pitsea. "Considering it has only been a few weekd since we got the go ahead, it seems remarkable that works were completed so quickly", added Mr Martin. Tarmacing works to the car parking were completed last night, and the workmen in question were seen leaving the site in caravans being towed by some scruffy mares.

Over at Roots Hall, demolition works and construction of a new supermarket were expected to be commenced today, with a view to having this open for Saturday.

So Freddie has come back to Southend after all!!

suffice to say Mr South Bank Hank got me hook , line ,sinker and half the bl**dy tacklebag with a PM about my lowly Scottish "other" team.

To the extent that I made a fool of myself on a highland league forum raising the question there !!!

I will now have to poison his end of season gingerbread player !
