As much as I like QT, Kevin Smith has had far more repeat viewings for me. Maybe I'm a cinematic heathen after all.
 
In all truth, KS can't compete with QT.

That's not to say i don't like KS, just that QT is in a different league.

None of his films have/will achieve 'cult' status like (nearly all) of Tarantino's blockbuster smashes.

There is only one QT. There are hundreds of people who direct comedy films, but only one man, with a mind so warped, that is capable of gluing you to your seat, whilst unable to take your eyes of the screen, hanging off every word of the dialogue being recited.

Step forward, the man, the legend....
