Coach
Finally arriving in last night/early morning, the effort by the team cannot be faulted, however it did show me that how much we hustle and bustle throughout the game, we did not truely test the keeper, and that was the difference between the two sides.
In the first half especially the first 15 minutes Flavs was again proving why he is the number one keeper, with three saves that would have graced the Premier$hite, and only on the rare occassion did we seem to spark into life, the second half was a different story, and from behind the goal it was impossible to tell on two incidents that could have changed the game.
Firstly Gray was felled/pulled over in the box, but it did look like he was looking for the penalty and may have swung the favour against him, and then 15 minutes from the end again my view was blocked by being behind the goal, Musslewhite seemed to handle the ball outside the area when Cole was going through, but give the ref his due, he looked straight over to the lino who said play on.
Gower and Guttridge had two attempts flash by the goal, but all in all they rarely forced the Scunnie keeper into a save.
Goater looks no way fit, and unless he can get sharp its going to be a long three games without Freddy, as the G/G combo didn't work out too well.
Overall a draw would have been a fair result , but we need to create chances to test the keepers and not waste opportunties only to shoot wide of the target
