The bottom of the League One table is bringing me almost as much joy as the top of the League Two table is.

How an you say that?

It has Orient, Col U and Crawely in there?

Oh yeah I see :hilarious:

Orient look doomed, Im enjoying that one. Col U are also looking in trouble, could do with Coventry getting a win or two.

If at the start of the season I could have named 4 teams to be in the league 1 dropzone it would have been the 4 that are there!:happy:

I've a natural dislike for Colchester but I struggle to care much about them beyond that because they're laughably tin-pot and because I've literally never met one of their fans. Do they even have fans?

Orient though.... I couldn't be happier to see them where they are in the table. It is delightful.

I also dislike Yeovil for giving Gary Johnson a job... (although they have seen the error of their ways)
and Crawley well... they bought promotion so can disappear back into non league now

i dont mind Yeovil.

Crawley I care less about since Evans left, but more than happy to see them return to their natural level.

Interesting that 2 teams (Crawley and Colchester) that are in trouble are two that are bankrolled by rich individuals. They are also teams that, in terms of attendances, tended to be punching above their weight. After a punishing recession they're now struggling.

When Robbie Cowling announced a few years back that he was cutting back his funding in order to promote the youth I said on here that it would be interesting to see how Col Ewe did because, with the crowds they were getting, I could only see it going one way.

Most people on here agreed with me, except funnily enough people like Colchester and Proud.

FWIW, I can't blame Col Ewe fans for disagreeing. They would always want to believe the best for their club, much like we do with Southend. But, we were looking at this dispassionately, which they weren't.

For me, three of the clubs I would want to go down are Leyton Orient (for family reasons), Gillingham (also for family reasons) and Col Ewe (for obvious reasons). It looks like I won't get my complete wish, but of the three Gillingham staying up is the least disastrous!

Going to cost me some money they are as I did a pledge for the Trust's Quid a Goal for how many points more than them we have at the end of the season!!!

Don't see much of Colchester and Proud or Jonny Stokes these days. It will teach them to never go on another teams site and gob off about how good you are, karma can be a right bitch at times.

The only downside of them going down would be if we went up and then didn't have a local derby to look forward to. I'd prefer Col U to stay up if we go up as we've not played them for years, Orient not bothered about just another club being ruined by a foreign owner.

I'm still about, old bean, though I must admit to being a tad too preoccupied with what new ways our megalomaniac chairman is finding to shaft my club to be too bothered about what the little clubs in the basement are up to. I've been posting on SZ for far longer than Orient have been better than Sarfend, so us being sheeite has little bearing on whether I'm here much or not. Sorry to disappoint.

As an aside, I don't think I've ever once seen CAP gob off about Colchester; seems like a decent fella to me. Don't drag him down to my level - the other Ewe will wonder where he's gone.

Are you's actually paying Andrea Dossena 20 bags a week?

Only Drossena, Mayonnaise and Liberache really know. Suggestion is that the top earner is actually Gianvito PlasmaTV (who doesn't train on Fridays because he's the chairman's best mate and they go out on the razzle in Mayfair every Thursday). Still, he's good at shooting 30 yards wide from 45 yards out, so he's well worth it for the comedy value.

If Col U go down this season and it is looking more and more likely I can really seem them falling straight through League 2.

Too many kids who just won't handle it in a physical league.

Be good if we could nab Dean Cox as we cross paths in May. Always rated him as a player and he'd be decent addition to the midfield.
