Scottish Cup: Stenhousemuir Knock Out Dunfermline Despite 7-1 Defeat

Thorpe Groyney

Open your mind
Because those pillocks from East End Park put on a substitute who was an ineligible player.

Methinks there could be a club secretary looking for a new job on Monday.

Calum Woods featured as a second-half substitute during the fourth-round tie at East End Park but the defender was due to be suspended for the game...... Despite Dunfermline's plea of ignorance, BBC Scotland has seen the list of suspended players, which includes Woods, and understands the same document was sent to the Fife club.

Doesn't look like they will be staying in the cup

Apparently, some Dunfermline fans phoned the club and told them that Woods was suspended for the game, but they ignored it.

And what a prize for Stenny. A home draw either against First Division Greenock Morton or SPL unknowns Glasgow Celtic.

Hibs, after disposing of Irvine Meadow, have another chance for a famous giant killing when in a thrilling local derby they host those fearsome amateurs Edinburgh City.

Credit to the BBC Scotland reporter. He picked up on it even as the match was going on. They kept going to East End Park as the goals flew in and he kept saying "Well, it's 5 / 6 / 7 now but it's irrelevant, Stenhousemuir are through."
