Scoreboard

Whats going on with the scoreboard the club said it was being fixed so far nothing but the frame works still up!

There was a time when I was considering a petition to have new books uploaded onto that scoreboard and then scrolled from start to finish during the match. I think it was a turgid 0-0 with Halifax a few years ago. I would have done anything to avoid watching the game.

The club said it was going to be fixed in the Jobson era!

Didn't we at one stage have to get the bulbs specially shipped over from the USA once (or at least that was the excuse used)?

Maybe not that drastic.... but is very embarrassing to see the goals fly in on TV seeing no fans and roots hall is looking like a Building site

I wonder if the club has sold the block covered by the flag for the final games or if it is being kep there as a form of segregation?

Could maybe free up some more seats for the Bristol City game!

Me and TFS reckon its there for a reason and nowt will get done till the summer. Gives the club an excuse not to sell tickets infront of it and thus makes segregation easier and not have to pay 'x' amount of money to do it "properly" ...

I dont understand why the club would want an excuse not to sell them!?

Surely it makes more sense to sell the seats, put a bit of meshing across a few and some stewards (i.e. Rotherham away etc)along there!

They might aswell just take the scoreboard down and scrap it!

If a bit of scaffolding around a dodgy scoreboard is all we have to moan about nowadays then we must be doing something right

Can't do that, it's got an Historic Preservation order on it. Has to be maintained in original working condition or the Club gets fined and docked 4 points.
