Looking for some ingenious ideas here....

As part of our Lent fundraising, we've taken the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30; Luke 19:12-28) and given every form group £5. They have just one month to bring it back 'with interest' before Easter.

I'm keen for my form to do well, and wondered if anyone had any good ideas! (please bear in mind they are Y8 /12-13 years of age!)

I have seen a few signs for 'Canvey's got talent' around Benfleet and I am sure it is going to be a big success.

sell them at break for 30p each
Repeat at lunch and afternoon break and after school
9 quid a the end of day one.

20 school days 4 sales opporunities a day should clear a stupid amount of money as long as you can get hold of the large volumes of fags at the end of the Month and there are enough customers

Only work involved for you is buying the stock and turning a blind eye at break

Given the large sums of money involved if you manage to get 500 plus pupils on at least 4 fags a day (200 quid a day profit) you may want to slip the staff a cut

get them to do double or bust bets with there mates, using the proposition bets as made famous by the Real Hustle... if you can get Jessica Jane Clement to come along and help, i'll chip in a tenner for a glimpse of her rack
