Save The World

Bit of a weird one to put on a football forum but I need a bit of assistance for a project I'm doing on a Graphic Design course.

We've been asked to promote a festival in Vancouver which is all about environmental isssues and saving the planet, blah blah blah.

My idea is to recreate scenes from popular culture, where the world has been saved. Despite it being a Design course I'm pretty rubbish at drawing so it needs to be something which can be represented really easily and be instantly recognisable.

So far I have:

Independence Day (the film)
Space Invaders
VE Day (maybe)


Any help would be much appreciated.
