SAFE curse broken!

Finally, after several months of watching Eastwood play well but never hit the target, I saw an Eastwood goal.

Clearly, with my past sorry record, I must have been spotted at games and this resulted in Eastwood being put off (Remember the miss away at Shrews anyone?). As a result I shaved my head to avoid detection and it worked a treat.

In case anyone is doubting this, the last two times I shaved my head were:

Summer 2000:
I - go on holiday with friends to Swanage
SUFC - Waste Halifax with Tony Richards putting in a miracle performance.

Summer 2002:
I - get drunk and decide it's a good idea
SUFC - don't do anything, the season's over but England somehow beat Argentina in spite of the late heavy pressure.

Perhaps now Easter may not be a barren time for our Freddy.

You got an honourable mention in the chat room this afternoon as the realisation dawned that the curse must have been broken.

(Though I did privately wonder if it meant you'd broken down and missed the match).

You should have seen me when I realised who'd scored! Think I may have scared the guy in front's kids with crazy celebrations!!

(Apologies if anyone here was in West T about 10 rows from the front!!)

....and yes, there's no reason stopping me from Cardiff now. Best get on the phone to the Travelodge then. Oh, hang on, we haven't got there yet!
