Royal Gazette

Shrimpador

First XI
of Bermuda!

Apologies if this is old news, but dont think I've seen it confirmed anywhere else yet?

Gazette

I think its a great idea, a good reward for the players and another acknowledgement of what the Goat did for us last year

...could have made this the centenary game!

Any chance of The Shrimpers Trust doing cheap away travel for under 50 quid?

I think the club have shown nothing but contempt for the die hard obsessives who's only reason for living is to attend each and every game - no matter how insignificant - and are going to be unable to afford to travel to Bermuda.

The article says we will take 18 players, does this mean nobody will be signed by then?

And it's a very early return to pre-season is it not?

Much too expensive , I mean, how many Shrimpers fans would fly to Bermuda to see the Centenary game?

Have the club announced the tour or is it just paper talk?

Sometimes I don't think the club can win with us fans. If it said 21 players then we would be wondering and demanding answers as to who the other 3 players are going.

It's on the OS now

It's on the OS now -and here's a nice quote

“It will be a wonderful trip for the players and the match against Bermuda will be our way of saying thank you again to Shaun for all he did for us.

“I’d like to think lots of fans out in Bermuda will come out for the game to cheer on Shaun, like a sort of testimonial game.”

Maybe the players are like you and can not go without football for more than a week!

Maisie, I have obviously made the wrong impression on you.
