Massive game for the blues today. Lose and the play offs could well and truly be near enough over.

I'm going for a 2-1 win for the Blues, a Corr double in front of 5600 Shrimpers.

COYB.

I have no idea what is going to happen today! Although I suspect we will probably go 1 down in the first half and then make a comeback in the second half maybe snatching a point.

I suspect a loss unfortunately, think it just won't be our year this season. That is unless Luggy was right about the players finally waking up about their first half goal problems, then we could have a game on our hands

Will be making my blues player debut today as I'm in Wales!

Wonder if ps would use this as an excuse to make many changes (shocking game vs Barnet).

As much as he is a liability Mohsni and cressy have to be the strongest CB pairing in L2? And fat t*@ Evans wanted him so Mohsni should be fired up!

Cressy vs old side, Mohsni if he plays otherwise bongo, 2-1

Have to win. 0-1 first half and will finish 1-2 to Rotherham.

Would be an ideal game to score in the first half/ early on for a change.

Anything will be an improvement from Tuesday night and lets just hope they have had an ear bashing over that performance and come out today with some fire in their belly.

Its about time Southend put in a proformance, we havnt realy played well for some time now, some of it down to key players being injured, but those who have taken part have just not been on there game at all. This may be the day we return to form, so im going for 2 0 win, Britt with both.

With both Cheltenham and Fleetwood having fixtures they should win, we're under extreme pressure to win ourselves. The Exeter v. Northampton fixture is useful for us though - at least they can't both win!

“@SUFCRootsHall: Team news in just a couple of minutes for you. Three changes from Tuesday's game and someone else named as captain.”

@SUFCRootsHall: BLUES XI: Smith; Clohessy (c), Cresswell, Prosser, Straker; Mayor, Lund, Hurst, Leonard; Assombalonga, Mohsni

Not too sure about that line-up. Bilel better keep his head today. I'd far rather see one of Corr or Eastwood up front.
