Roots hall

I was told earlier, by the bloke that lives next to the entrance of the West Stand that the Bar was broken into and bottles of beer etc and the TV screens were taken. Apparently both the alarm and cctv were 'down'! Anybody else hear this?

Do we have any news on the badgers? Mrs shallow was asking a few days ago and I had to admit I have no idea. Maybe they swapped seats?
State of the art badger detection and culling system has been installed. The seagull has had a statue made above the dugout. Flavs bum cheeks mid goal kick setup have been added to the pre match montage on the screen. Che Wilson’s left foot has been inducted into the feet hall of fame for having never been used for any purpose.

Absolutely this. The ladies toilets next to the bar entrance in the West are a more than a bit difficult to get to according to Mrs RHB because men are using them.
Get with the times. Check their pronouns.😳😳😳😳 🙈🙈

Went past the West entrance today. Nothing changed there. All the broken hoardings and seat number signs still there. It wouldn’t cost much to take down all the broken pieces, even if not replacing them immediately. It looks derelict.

There have been people working around the West Stand entrance @Shr1mperBlue . But after the West Stand bar was broken into I think they were sorting out the alarm and CCTV.

As you say it looks a mess and wouldn't take much to fix / remove. But also there are now no directions as to which turnstile to use for South Stand / Family Enclosure etc.

What i dont get is people are willing to go in to give it a bit of a clean up/paint etc but hearing nothing from club. No meet the blues day this year aswell?
As I've said before, there ARE plans for a Meet the Blues Day this year, BUT, we can't have it at Roots Hall, the training ground or Boots and Laces, so it's either got to be on privately owned land or council owned land and there are some hoops to jump through with regards to licensing, permits and safety concerns for large crowds. It is anticipated that this will be on 3rd August at one of two venues in the city.

The Trust IS talking to the Club about a "community day", where fans can go along to help get it ready for the new season and, which, it is hoped, will be announced very soon. We will be looking for help to do some re-painting and general work in the Shrimpers soon, and have a Liaison Meeting on Thursday, so hopefully, more information after that.

I know we all love Roots Hall, and the vast majority of us are staying here, but with the work that COSU need to do there, I wonder if they wish FF was still on the table.

A chance to pick and choose what they want and make it custom made as opposed to having to shoehorn what they want into Roots Hall and its existing space.
It would never have been that because Ron's process was at the heart of it all. It scuppered the Kimura purchase, it was unfeasible.
