Dearest Santa Claus
Some would say I have not been a very good boy this year, having made a couple of "Minor" decisions regarding my business interests and, oh yes......a couple of very small failings which has something to do with a football team in southend. Whatever has happened I would like to put the record straight once and for all and catergorically state that I never ever said there was a "Warchest" ,or did I indicate to any third party that "Loreal" was my preferred choice of hair conditioner. My demise as "Emperor".. sorry, I mean Chairman, Owner, Banker...(Yes It reads Banker) of the club I have supported as a baby, through thick and thin only reinforces which has been blatantly obvious to all my "subjects" sorry, I mean fans, that none of it whatsoever is my Fault. Yes "Santa" I now the evidence against me is overwhelming and maybe to picture a different scenario of 10,000 gates a new stadium, and life in the second tear of english football the bare minimum, Beleive me, things are looking rosey. I'm sure the 3000 gates will improve and the old "Cliche" of languishing midtable in the fourth tear of english football as a "Minor Blip in my masterplan" comes to mind especially as "Sainsburys" begged me to get on board with them so with a heavy heart, I reluctantly agreed.
Work I'm sure will get under way for my new "Casino and retail park" and maybe just maybe if there are enough coffers in the tin we might be able to build a small Baseball /Football, ground (three sided) to please the "Peasants" sorry did it again, I mean Fans in Southend.
So all in all "Santa" my wish list is not that long, I just want to be loved and adored again by my "peers" and to see the dream of a bronze statue of myself being erected at the entrance of "Morrisons new stadium" something I will always treasure as having "Shafted"...sorry again, I mean "Granted" the people of southend my full and unswervingly loyalty.
