Ron Martin on Central Line this morning

Bumped in to RM at Liverpool Street this morning as we caught the same west bound train on the Central Line (at 8.10). I couldn't get to speak to him until some people had got out at Bank and then when I spoke to him he had just put a biscuit in his mouth!

He was getting off at Chancery Lane so we only had about 5 minutes to chat, but I must confess he was very approachable and did not seem to mind a completre stranger disturbing his 'commute'.

Oh for God's sake, you just have said 'otherwise and to the contrary' - who is fuming then? Constant innuendos are so pointless and tiring.

We have a stated fact - someone who has actually spoken to Ron - and then we have supposition and hints. Where is the substance?

I thought Sturrock and Mohsni had also said the same thing in interviews too.

Hmmm... west bound train, central line!? Most direct train in London to move purposefully away from our beloved Southend United. So typical of the man that he was commuting OUTSIDE of 9 to 5 working hours so as to give the impression that he normally used the working day for actually doing things to make our club more successful. Also chose a specific train carrying a Southend United 'face'. Clearly wanted to be spotted. I wonder what his agenda was.

He's clever, I'll give him that. Ensured that you couldn't get to him until after he'd been to the Bank. The biscuit move is what you'd expect. Putting himself first, then using a cookie-style snack so as to delay any communication further. As fans we have a right to know what he is doing and where he is going (who he is hob-nobbing with, wow, that's clever!). We shouldn't have to wait for him to finish a biscuit before providing this information. Again, typical of Ron Martin to have his Jaffa Cake AND eat it.

So, moving away from Southend, off to see his lawyers, speaking with a Colchester based resident but only engaging in that communication when trapped? We're merging with Colchester United! Fact. End of. That's the way the cookie crumbles. How did we not see this coming and why have the clubs been so quiet about this?
