Rochdale have climbed up to 11th place in the league following 3 straight wins. The first against Coventry and then 3 goals against Bury and 3 against Oldham. If they win they will go above us in the league. Cripes. :'(

I have some sneaky admiration for the club - they done well to maintain their position in this league and apparently play some good football. They have that chap Vincenti (ex Aldershot) who seems to do well against us.

As for the Southend team selection I wonder if Brown will play the same team again.

The last time I was at Spotland was a fabulous game where we won 3-0 in the division below. The same again on Friday would do very nicely!

Unchanged again? Would like to see Weston come on late on when they start to tire

Tough game, Rochdale will want to close the gap on the playoffs, and there on decent form.

We will either get beaten badly or win with a 0-1 victory.

Don't see any need to change the line-up, although with three games in 8 days there probably will need to be some rotation in the other games. Next two games against teams just below us will have a big say in whether we make the play-offs.

Perhaps best to consider Timlin in the midfield? I'm not sure what his injury position is though.

Can't see us changing the team- of course the U21 game happened and someone may have in PB's eyes pulled up trees but that is more likely to impact on the bench. The two at risk as its away would be Kamara and Wordsworth (but if Timlin is injured and we are unlikely to go with two wingers really the option is probably swapping one of these two for Atkinson or maybe Wordsworth for McQueen). Most likely unchanged.

Rochdale have a few absentees according to SSN. Most notable Lund & Henderson. Henderson caused a lot of problems when we came on in the last fixture.
