So how can we go from yesterday. " we can't sign anymore players " " Embargo doesn't allow anymore players" etc. To today showing off our latest longterm loanee, What the hell is going on with our club?

Who cares we have signed a player!

Welcome to the club Rob.

Sounds like he's been training with us this week so at least he'll know some of the players' names -
Blues boss Phil Brown said: “I’m delighted to have Rob signed. We are a bit short defensively at the moment, especially on Saturday with Luke Prosser suspended and Adam Thompson on international duty.

“He has impressed us all in training and comes here with experience of this level having enjoyed a number of loan spells in the last few seasons.”

Kiernan said: “I’m really looking forward to getting some first-team games under my belt.

“I have seen in training that the manager likes to get the ball down and play football.

Well I think its disgusting that RM keeps pulling a rabbit out of the hat and doing his best all the time. Clearly he should live up to the fans criticism/expectation and do nothing! I bet he has to turn cartwheels sometimes to get the players in and half of them over the last few seasons have done beggar all in return. Sturrock was given player after player and he fluffed it. I actually do sympathise with RM over this.

Just proves the doom mongers wrong.

I've said it before an I'll say it again, the embargo has no real bearing on who we want to sign and when we want to sign them. RM is a slippery snake with us fans, so anyone who doesn't think he "plays" the system is very wrong. If all else fails, we need a player and there is no other options available in his diddling of the rules, then guess what, the debt is settled and the embargo gets lifted.

Only a flurry of injuries will lead to our embargo being lifted since 20 players is more than enough cover for a L2 club.

Play the "we have no fit defenders" card and the league have to allow a signing. It's in the rules somewhere. Very clever. We are pro's at this embargo lark now.

Anyway welcome Rob. Let's hope you sort out this mess from set pieces.

Look your fully entitled to your opinion but I sometimes wonder exactly what RM has got to do for some fans to see him for what he actually is? It absolutely astounds me that former managers, players, cleaners (!) journalists, creditors and business partners have it seems all formed a very similar opinion of the man and yet there are some that know him less than the above that still defend or 'sympathise' with him. What for? For putting the club in a position that has resulted in another embargo? For failing to deliver on his many promises about a new ground and a complete lack of openness when its most needed. Showing complete disdain when faced with any form of criticism for his actions or in the case of meaningful communication - inaction? For being able to sleep at night with a host of unpaid bills affecting contractors livelihoods? In some kind of parallel universe all of the above and more might result in an appropriate outpouring of sympathy for the perpetrator from his paying public ... but surely not this one.
