Guys and gals, an unashamed plug for a good pal of mine, who is heading up a gig, in southend at the Kursaal (the home of southend music).

The event is called "Ricochet" and it is basicaly a fantastic night, where 4 unsigned, local bands will be peforming, basically to get recognised.. as im sure you are aware, a lot of hard work goes into this - and i really would like some off here to attend - Jason who heads up J J promotions, is also a loyal southend fan, and a very good colleague of mine... i really would like this to succeed for him, so if anyone is interested in some decent live music, for a price of 3 quid a ticket for the first hundred click below or let me know -

The whole ides of this was to put an alternative music scene on in Southend and with the great history of the Kursaal I really want to put this venue back on the map!! I've lived in Southend my whole life and want to make this a real community event including local bands and businesses so if anyboby would like to get involved in any shape or form then please let me know.

I'm so excited by the addition to what already is gonna be a fantastic night! Believe me when I say this band WILL SELL OUT STADIUMS in the very near future. So catch them now so you can be the first to say "seen them at RICOCHET"

This is just one review of many.....

Jaws drop and knees quiver within minutes of their first chords. This alternative indie rock group passionately deliver spaced, atmospheric and post-rocked vibes alongside vast energetic waves of dream-scraped lyrics and vocal melodies. Quite simply… awesome!
