Richie Havens R.I.P.

Sad news - he was a great talent. I played the acoustic stage at Glastonbury in 2001 and Havens was the headliner that day. We there quite early just kicking around in the backstage area when a small van parked up next to us. The back doors opened and out strode Richie Havens and his conga player. They sat in the back of the van with the doors open jamming for the next few hours, it was incredible, he was a legend.
