Revell - Views from Brighton

Don't get me wrong, I really do hope that this is going to be a superb signing but I hope Brighton dont' know something we don't know:

Brighton & Hove Albion are hopeful that Alex Revell can make a swift return from hernia surgery in time for their FA Cup tie against Torquay United.

Brighton striker Alex Revell could miss the rest of the season after suffering a serious knee injury in training.

Injury prone???

Lets hope not.

Tilson knows a fair bit about the lad though so it should be ok, plus, if theres any problems with the medical I'm sure the management wont hesitate to send him back ;)

Just watched his 14 goals from last season and this. 5 headers from dead ball situations where he really fearlessly attacks the ball. 7 with his favoured right foot most from close range but a couple from outside the box, and 2 screamers with his left which could have broke the net, again from well inside. Looks to be a very brave player who will go in where it hurts, certainly someone we have missed for quite a while. Would like to have seen the need to create his chances for apart from a goal he took on his chest and turned hitting a volley, all we scored with one touch. But thats being picky.
