PL Cup Winner 2014
In L2 yesterday both Newport and Dagenham were beaten and Morecambe only drew, further consolidating our position in at least the play-off... What a great day!

Not only that but clubs such as Chesterfield and Oxford did not play and so may be rusty on Saturday. And it means these teams have just as many games to play as us in the 2nd half of the season.

Yes, there looks to be a small gap opening up, Newport hanging on in in 8th with a game in hand.

I wonder who the late runner will be, if any this year. Glad we aren't near the bottom, quite a few biggish teams in trouble down there and it is nearly as tight as the top.

Burton and Oxford will have re-arranged ties midweek, yesterday couldn't have gone any better but we need to focus on Plymouth now.

To be honest, with the transfer bans and my fear that we could be dragged into a relegation dogfight, glad I am wrong! At the start, a 15th place finish would be an success for us.

Well said Mr Mouse! how many punters did "doom and gloom" at the start of the season on here and haven't man'd up to their poor predictions.

Long way to go but my summer each way bets on Southend and Burton are still alive.

There has been so much change in the top ten so far this season but it is nice to see that a gap is starting to finally open up and long may it continue. Starting to look like a top 8 with the inevitable late runner too, I would expect us to make the play offs at least as long as we do not hit too many injury and suspension problems.

Imagine what PB, his staff and the squad could acheive with that Embargo being lifted, there is no big boys this season and no team is running away with it....maybe just maybe we could nick an automatic spot.
