I've been wondering that. Surely there must be some legal challenge? The Safety claims wouldn't stand up once previous examples were examined.

I think there's a reasonable case for something.
The issue is a total lack of forethought from the national league. They chose to hold the match at Wembley, they chose the date and they would have known all about the restrictions as I'm told that TFL have had this work booked in for 3 years.
I hope the club pursue something, it has been a total sham from the NL.

NL probably don't think wel win and already planning next year's points deduction for us. Because we have 17,501 there through general sale instead of 17,500!

Was at the Fairgame conference today at AFC Wimbledon. Speaking to some of the reps there from other NL clubs they are far from happy too. Apparently NL clubs get a share of the income (i had no idea re that) ... so less tickets sold affects their pocket too
