So that was the reason Danny Wilson was seen lurking outside the Spread lunch-time. We thought he had arrived to sign one of our players.

Maybe Guttridge was brought in to stiffen up the stiffs. Seems to be putting in some decent reserve game performances!!

I thought the official site said that benson was due to start ?

It did, he wasnt even on the bench though...strange, maybe he aggrevated the knock he picked up in the last reserve outing...

He was but last minute there was a change in plan as Paul couldn't make it.

Think he played on Sunday for he's local side, not sure if he picked up a further knock there, last week he was suffering from concussion

Erm. Probably didn't play Sunday unless he legged it down pretty sharpish to Cardiff for Sunday night.

I've never actually been out to see the reserves play. How many people turn up on average and whats the quality of the games like?

Can sometimes get nearly 500 odd at the reserve games down at the Hall...

I was there yesterday and i'd say there was between 50-75 people, there is normally a bit more , i thought we started well, kept possesion well with gutteridge showing some good touches and Dudders always looked a threat up front and so did a fit looking Corbett, the back four were rarely troubled and we could of been 3 up in the first half.

All in all there was lots of good performances against a poor Mk Dons side , but i'm afraid to say that on that showing not many of the youngster's will be pushing for a place in the first team in the near future although Kightly did take his goal brilliantly.
