Real Ale Day

Stodge

First XI
How was it for you? In the West Stand I was disappointed to find there was no real ale at 2:30 (and I don't count John Smiths or Newcastle Brown as real ale).

When I questioned the bar staff they said that for them real ale day had consisted of 6 bottles each of 2 different beers.

A bit of a half hearted real ale day if you ask me, but a good idea and maybe they will do better next time.

Now I'm off to the pub.

I popped into the little corner bar between West & South stands and had a bottle of XB.

Nice to see a little more choice, very encouraging start to the new catering company.

I've never seen you drink ale!

I use to drink allot of ale when I was in my teens I use to get slated at school my top picks were....

Hobgoblin
or
Bishops Finger
lastly
Green King IPA

On a serious note to SUFC - Remember when your messing with REAL ALE you need to know what your doing because people who drink real ale always tend to know there stuff!

Also try not to fob us off with bottled ale! something on pump is always nice!

Real Ale in the spread as usual,a fine selection of ales which were London pride, courage best, and guest,Bomber,SUFC should stick at selling Burgers, pop and pies with their recession busting prices.

Swissy good to meet you the other day! - this real ale thing John Major would have sorted it!

TIME TO GET BACK TO BASICS!

Fair play he stuck one in Edwina Currie!

Even I took her for a Korma Sampler - she went down like a king prawn butterfly
