*** Reading 2007 Thread ***

Come on then, who else is going to Reading next week/weekend...?

I'm very much looking forward to Jimmy Eat World (x2), Gallows, Pumpkins, Alberta Cross (heard good things about them), Interpol and Kings Of Leon.

Worst band of the weekend? Razorlight. Utter rubbish. I shall save my first dump of the weekend for their set in protest.

I'll be there, looking forward to another five days of drunken antics.
I too was appalled when I saw that Razorsh!te were down as a headliner. I shall go and see Ash who are headlining the Radio 1 stage instead.

I'm quite disappointed at the headliners personally, but the radio one/nme stage looks quite good on all three days.

The pumpkins should be good, and I've never seen RHCP before so I'm quite looking forward to that as well. Rest of the lineup on the main stage is a bit of a mixed bag, though as you say the R1 stage looks pretty sharp all weekend.

I'm disappointed that this thread wasn't about what people have been reading in 2007.

For my part, I've just finished "Basket Case" by Carl Hiassen whilst on the bedside table I've got "Asterix and the Big Fight"

I only really read on the bog these days and at the moment, whenever I have a **** I enjoy a few pages of "This is Uncool: the 500 greatest singles since punk and disco". Excellent stuff.

Like the way the thread is going.

However Im more interesting in know what books people are reading at the Reading music festival in 2007.
