Lets hope the chelsea coach gets a hostile reception like the man u coach in the southend car park ,it was not very organized well it was massed around with southend fans,they didnt want to get of the coach,for some time ,plus they were marched through all the fans, man u players didnt like this ,it might of unsettled them.

I'm all for that, let them no Roots Hall is a hostile place. Of course we don't want anyone doing anything stupid like chucking a brick at the coach or trying to attack the players but we want them to no their time at Southend won't be pleaant.

Tilly came out with a good one last night on itv match of the day where he was on the panel,he said to this afect the heater doesnt work in the away changing room and the pitch was close to the spectators.We should not treat them like lords treat them with nothin.

It's likely to be a cold night, would it not be better for the heater in the changing room to be stuck on full wack so when they go outside they freeze their nuts off:)

Lets face it the changing rooms at Roots Hall were built at a time when teams only had 11 players & no subs. So to try and cram 20+ people in there must be a nightmare.

I agree with making Roots Hell as hostile as possible and I think we will see a totally different Roots Hall as compared to normal. The atmosphere against Man United was electric with everyone joining in with the chanting. I have a feeling next week could be even bettter.

I agree we should be reasonably hostile, but nothing thuggish like something you'd see at Millwall/Leeds. After the way Lampard handled himself after the game I have great respect for him, I certainly wont be booing him at the home leg.

I agree with this to be fair, I dont want Southend to be seen to resort to dirty tricks.

Let's just make the atmosphere come KO and during the game as best as it can be people. If we recreate the atmosphere that was evident at Southampton, Donny, Man U and Chelsea, it will be like adding an extra player to our team. Barney and a couple of others mentioned how we were "the 12th man" on Saturday and it really helped the team pull off a shock. Let's do it again, it works...
