Ray Scott was a top guy, It was with real sadness when I heard of his death. My thoughts are with his friends and family.

I'll echo those thoughts, I was on work experience with him n Frankie Banks for 2 weeks and he was a top bloke, really gutted by whats happened. Hope the club do something for him.

Ray and Frankie Banks trained my team as part of the Blues in Community scheme, took us to the Ipswich home game in 92 and are therefore solely responsible for my defection to Southend from Spurs.

It saddened me to hear of Ray's passing.

My dad got a call Saturday morning and put a real downer on the weekend. He was my old man's manager for nearly 10 years at Courtlands and i did many soccer schools during various holiday breaks with him calling me 'Talbs' all the time. A top bloke and hope Matt and the rest of the family is coping well.

For those who will be at the funeral, i do know that it wont be this week and should be early next week.

R.I.P
