RAT MARTIN'S OFFSHORE STASH

CC51DAS

President
Rather than see us go into liquidation or administration, I think it would be rather nice if Ratty uses his stash in the British Virgin Islands to settle all the debts he has run up.

He narrowly escaped conviction for fraud a year or so ago so I doubt that he would relish more investigations which some on here have said will take place if we go into administration.

Previous enquiries showed activity of over 6 million dollars in his MEZCAL offshore company.

He has said to Medway a few days back - 'the truth will out' - well I call upon him to make a start by publishing the up to date accounts and opening all the books for MEZCAL since its formation.

Gloves are off now - no more time for pussying around

RM moved SEL’s parent from Martin Dawn plc to Mezcal Investments Limited back in March of this year. If SEL is sold the sale proceeds are off to the BVI.

He’s like a rich spoiled brat of a kid who has got bored of his latest toy & is now destroying it so no one else can have any enjoyment from it.

It’s bloody wrong he can service the club debts yet cannot be made to do so despite living in opulence.😡

At the risk of me being a bit being thick, can someone explain how anyone can find out what activity goes on in offshore accounts?

No-one should have access to that information unless they are the bank, the account holders or the protector.

So where can this information be obtained please?

I’m not sure you can unless you have some sort of Court Order under BVI law. That’s the reason Ronnie has Mezcal Investments.

We are reporting upon a finance and investments company which belongs to foreign shareholders. Although it is registered in the British Virgin Islands, it uses such territory only as its legal and administrative address, but all its operations are carried out abroad. It is managed by a resident registration agent and it is unknown in the marketplace, so its commercial morality and general reputation cannot be assessed, although nothing detrimental is noted upon subject. As there are no visible assets, and taking into account also that it is unknown as making use of credit facilities, credit in general must be regarded as a matter of confidence, and amounts of certain importance would have to be secured by collateral. A credit line maybe considered for USD 100 000.

With £6m in the bank why not pay the npower, HMRC debts and a result make the club a more attractive proposition?

USD6m not GBP and net income in 2021 - no balance sheet info so who knows how much cash/assets are actually in the company.
Quite. Net income is not cash flow but P&L. And net income doesn't necessarily follow through into cash flow. Indeed, the net income may be related to inter-company debt/transactions that will never result in positive cash flow.

Probably the interesting number is that a credit line of maybe $100k (£80k) might be appropriate with moderate risk. That doesn't suggest a huge offshore cash pile to put it mildly.
