I'll fess up to thinking "uh-oh" when the initial signing was announced but I can't fault anything I've seen of or heard about him since. What a great example of a life turned around and what a welcome bit of news to wake up to.

Let's get Wordsworth, Lenny and McLaughlin on similar long term deals . Great business by the club, well done on both PB and RM.

General thinking on the FB page is that he will not be here next season. I suppose, if we do cash in, it will provide a good boost to the coffers............a real early Christmas present.

This is excellent news for Southend United and for Nile. It gives us a real chance of pushing for promotion, provided that he and Cox stay fit. If we don't get promoted I reckon a bigger club will buy him next summer.

Wow great news for both sides, ranger gets to really prove himself and we get a bargain to possibly sell on for cash in future:smile:

Good news but we have to have a break clause in there, surely.

I am delighted at how he's been playing but his history shows he tends to start well and then go off the rails once he gets a bit too comfortable.
