Mine were Shaun Goater whilst he was at Rotherham and as mentioned above Leo-Fortune West. Was also gutted when our move for Andy Robinson fell through a couple of years ago.

As things stand now, I'd love it if we could try & persuade Keigan Parker down to the Hall and hopefully the Farm! His goal for Blackpool in Jan 06 when we won 2-1 up there was sublime. Exactly the sort of creative goal-poacher we're screaming out for.

I remember us playing Borient before the England Germany massacre, and their front two of Constantine and Ibhere? looked class,...we all know what happened to Constantine and Ibhere never did much.

Jabo is still a class act on his day - unfortunately his injury problems have robbed him of ever getting a decent run in the side. He's had a bunch of 'last chances' at the club, but he really looked like he was coming good this season...until he got injured again. Ahead of Wayne Gray in the pecking order...

A few years before that I saw Cambridge play Peterborough (random I know) and some guy called Billy Beale ran the midfield for Cambridge....but pretty soon drifted out of the league and was evidently talentless.

Billy Beall was an absolutely terrible player. We had him for a couple of years alongside that c*** Kwame Ampadu and they just used to pass it sideways to each other repeatedly. He also couldn't tackle or head the ball. Did score a scorcher up at Hull once for a rare Northern away win.

Isedyn Christie also destroyed us and didnt go on to much

'Eyesdown' was a victim of two horrible knee ligament injuries. Robbed him of his pace and willingness to challenge for the ball. Good player on his day.

Ginger full-back is quite possibly Bobby Hassell, who I first saw play against us for Mansfield, and who was head and shoulders above anyone else on the park.

I think he's at Barnsley now, and has been there a while - he's certainly good enough for the Championship, at any rate.

Still at Barnsley, but has only played 3 times this season after having made 42 appearances last year. Injured, perhaps...?

When Kingstonian beat us in the cup a few years ago I remember they had a player called Pitcher who completely bossed the midfield. At the time I thought he'd be a great addition to our team, I think he ended up at Brighton but didn't do much there.

This will no doubt be greeted with derision in some quarters but we are a team completely lacking pace and Wayne used to bag a goal or two. I can't see any of the current mob (will exclude Walker as an unknown quantity at this stage) scoring that overhead kick our Wayne scored against Port Vale.
