Raheem Sterling

Life President
Yes, that one that tore our U18s to bit on Monday, could become Liverpool's youngest ever player as he's been included in the squad for their UEFA Cup tie with Sparta Prague.

I wonder how many other players have made consecutive appearances against Southend United and Sparta Prague.

Had a fantastic game for Liverpool vs United in the FA Youth Cup this afternoon and looked very useful against much better opposition than we could provide. The game's just finishing, and Liverpool look like going out 3-2, but Sterling has looked great.

Did Paul Pogba and Ravel Morrison play for United and did Ngoo play?

Did Paul Pogba and Ravel Morrison play for United and did Ngoo play?

All played.

Pogba and Morrison were both very good in the first half. Pogba was the victim of one of the most jobsworth-like, officious decisions I've seen. He'd already been booked, but went forward to take a penalty. He feigned a shot a la Ronaldo in his run up, and the referee gave him his marching orders for doing so. I understand that it's now a bookable offence, but it was extremely harsh to send a player off for such a discretion, particularly a youth... Very much like Van Persie's against Barca.

Morrison was superb. Played just off the front man and was creative, energetic and accurate with his passing. Scored two as United came back from 2-0 down, his second being a sublime volley.

Ngoo only featured for five or so minutes as he's only just returned from injury.
