Singer Gene Pitney Dies at Age 65

I'm deeply saddened to have to inform everyone of the passing of the legendary Gene Pitney. He died in his sleep on Wednesday, April 4th, 2006 while on tour in Wales, UK. He is survived by his wife and three sons.
I personaly loved Gene Pitneys work strange for a young bloke like myself but I thought that he brought great tallent to the stage my best number being 24 hours from tulsa.
Shame he was due to perform at the cliffs this year!
