Hi guys sorry to be a pain, would it be possible to just quickly fill in this questionnaire for me? Will only take a minute of your time. Basically I am currently writing a report in my second year at university, trying to establish what attracts fans to local teams such as Southend United in this financial climate when higher profile game are easily accessible on Sky. Fell free to move if this is the wrong section! Thanks for your help!

Like the first question very much as the aged only went up to 40 :winking:

done, as mentioned the age demographics don't immediately make sense, and dare I say highlight that the survey was done by a younger person

Yes agreed, age "40+" and "20+" years supporting don't really give a true reflection of quite a lot of us.

Yeah fair point, probably should have made the age boundaries a little higher on reflection. From the results I have it seems within this site the majority are Southend fans who supported the club before the Sky Sports era (Premier league founded 20 years ago, hence 20+ years answer) as opposed to those who grew up with it. It could therefore could ask the question, are we losing out on a generation of local potential supporters because of the convenience of watching Premier League matches on Sky Sports? I do take on board that this site is not necessarily a reflection of all fans who attend matches although it is a very useful indicator.

Once again guys thanks for the help, it has been very useful!
