Quick Question re tickets for tomorrow

Southend_Lady

Ginger Sam
the answer is probably on here somewhere but I dont have time to trawl through!

I clicked on a link through an email from the club last week stating "reserve your ticket for the play offs" I did just this and was taken to the official site where the number and passcode given in the email bought up details of my ST seat. I then went through and made a payment. No ticket in the post, shall I assume it has been crredited to my card???

Then you are correct it has been credited to your card

No money had left my account yet though. Best bring the email receipt with me tomorrow me thinks or jobsworth stewards may have a field day.

If you are an Seaso Card holder then the game has been added to your card. You should of got a receipt for your credit card payment sent to you by post tho (I did but I booked mine by phone). After the fiasco before when a cup game was added to a seaso card or rather wasnt, I would recommend taking the receipt with you.

Sam,
when I went to get my ticket they credited my season card. Tickets I believe are only being issues to non-seaso's

I am taking my receipt just in case though

I'm doing the same, as you can't trust the club to get it right! Remember the fiasco at the start of the season when we were meant to all be able to use the same card as the previous season? It didn't work for a lot of people. I changed seats from the previous season so didn't have that problem until the second game!! :punch:

I'm taking, along with my allegedly credited season card, printed email receipts from SUFC, printed bank statements showing the debit of £22 from my account, and a Great Gonzo muppet mascot just in case.

Have you wired up one of those Max & Paddy "Get back you b*stard, I'll break your legs" car-alarms too? ;)

Anyway, back on topic, I think it's prudent for all STH's who have gone down the automatic credit route for buying their seat for tonight to take some form of a printed receipt with them. The SUFC ticket office are getting better in terms of their customer service (other than selling me a seat for Port Vale which no longer actually exists) but I would hate for tonight's KO to be delayed as half the ground is still queueing outside as the automated ticketing system has failed, how embarassing would that be live on Sky?

Having fronted up and bought tickets in person, I shall still be armed with all necessary receipts and confirmations. Having witnessed the early season c*ck up of supposedly upgraded season cards, I shall also be armed with a large pinch of salt.

Absolutely! And no way would Sky allow the kick-off to be delayed as they wouldn't want the game over-running into Irish Greyhound Racing, WWE MasterBlast, or Vegas Poker Challenge 08.

I'm parking elsewhere tonight!
