Actor Tom Baker is to take over BBC One on Thursday evening - giving viewers spoof continuity announcements written by the duo behind Little Britain.
Baker's script has been written by Matt Lucas and David Walliams to coincide with the show's new series.

The former Doctor Who will address his audience as "tellyviewers" in the style of his narrator's role in the show.

A BBC spokesman said: "We've gone for a change with Tom Baker because it's such a special line-up."

Among the announcements provided by Baker, 70, is his introduction to EastEnders: "In half an hour, Jenny Dickens' classic serial Bleak House. But first let's see what the poor people are up to in the first of two visits this evening to the EastEnder."

Baker's stint will begin at 1900 and end at 2130 GMT
