Qpr Is Massive

THE SEVENTIES NORTH BANK

Life President⭐⭐🦐
Who else is really looking forward to seeing this game .It's ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE .Should be a cracking atmosphere .
Positives : Freddy on fire ,Confidence is high ,team spirit is back to its best(inside info) ,Barrett and Clarke rock solid ,Maher and McCormack driving the team forward ,Foran .
''COME ON SOUTHEND'' .

its only Tuesday and the buzz is definately building .....

looks like Hammell is out and will be badly missed what will the cover be ?

Fans always refer to important games as '6 pointers', well i would go as far to say that this one is a '10 pointer'. Win this and i am convinced we can pull off the impossible as the gap between us and the other clubs around us is shortened. Lose and i fear the worst as we are unbeaten in our last 6 away games and obviously are due for a defeat soon, and should the unthinkable happen and we were to lose 2 on the bounce (friday and at Sunderland) then we would probably find ourselves 6-8 points from the safety zone. Although we could still pull this back, psycologically it would be demoralising looking at the table. Still believe if we win 6 from our last 8 home games and one away, with another 2 draws this would be enough for safety.

Plus the fact that Hull are away to Derby means we can match them on points which will also be massive, I think this is the most cruicial match of the season so far with a doubt! 2/3 months ago everyone kept saying loose this and we are down and then the next match they would say the same but this really is THE game to win and if we win I am almost certain we will stay up :)

Clarke rock solid.

Am I the only one who thinks Clarke is improved but not rock solid ? He makes a rick that leads to a goal or clear chance everytime I see him play !?

Anyway, yes looking forward to Friday, the team is in great form and a game we have to expect to get 3 points from.

Only concern is set pieces, QPR won their last game from them and we arent exactly convincing at defending them!

The only option is to rest Bradbury, play Foran with Freddy & put Gower left wings & play McCormick in Middle & as for left back ..... oh bugger we do need a loan player!

Yeah, I was looking forward to the game, but I think that the weather will probably stop the game going ahead. The forecast is for heavy snow on Thursday, followed by heavy rain on Friday.

I hadn't realised that the weather could be that bad.

This is a huge game for us - the biggest of the season so far IMO, and I'm already thinking of little else.

I'm going to QPR tonight.
No you're not, you wally. You're going to Loftus Road (the ground) on one of the very nights that QPR aren't there...

:thump:

By the way, why didn't the Chambers / Guttridge swap thing materialise? We kept our half of the bargain...

According to BBC its light snow thursday, followed on friday by , light drizzle.

Hope it doesnt get called off, we need to keep up momentum !

They keep changing the forecast!!! Your right it does say light snow now. Maybe it will be alright, I really do hope so coz this is a massive game for us, a win would pile the pressure on the teams around us.

Bah. Pedant.

:flamer:

And sorry about Chambers. We tried to be useless enough to persuade him to leave, but we somehow tricked him into signing a new two-and-a-half year contract. You can have him if you give us £500,000 instead. We'll give Adam Donny Barnard as a leaving present.

:hilarious:

We have only let in 1 goal maximum in our last seven league matches .That is mainly due to the up turn of form of Flavs ,Barrett and Clarke .
Yes Clarke still makes the odd rick but he has put in some commanding perfomances lately and is attacking the ball more now rather than letting the opposing striker get there first like he did when he first played for us .His passing out of defence has also improved and he is less likely to hoof .
