Pursuit of Happyness

I'm watching this now on Sky and it's made me remember the first time I saw it... Personally, I love this film and I think Will Smith is brilliant in it. My flatmate however thinks it's tremendously crap, and he would rather be watching a Steven Segal film, which is a sin comparable to worshipping Karl Duiguid in my books.... Nobody talks trash to Big Will in front of me.

So, Thoughts on this film?

On Seagall I agree, on Happyness (much to the chagrin of my brother) I don't. I like my films to have some kind of action in them, even it's just a punch up. This doesn't.

Good film with Smith at his best again. His kid was good too. I generally rate Wil Smith as one of the top actors in Hollywood at the moment and he seems like a generally nice family guy too. Has came a long way since the early days of Fresh Prince of Bel Air (One of my all time favourite shows).

As for Seagall - I can never like a actor who has no neck!

Get out. lol

Pursuit of Happyness is an awesome film. Will Smith and his son are both fantastic. In fact, I dont think I've seen a truely terrible Will Smith film. Granted Wild Wild West wasn't great, but Will Smith still put in a good performance. I Am Legend was also brilliant and I'm really looking forward to Hancock next month.

In years to come when we look back, I think Will Smith will be looked upon as an acting legend.
