Question Punishment for King/the club

After the shocking treatment of their own fans, i believe the club/king should definately face some kind of punishment.
As this website is monitored, those at the club will realise how strongly us fans feel about the ******** that you have dumped on us, not only in the past, but on saturday aswell. An apology is not worth the paper it is printed on. It has gone beyond that now. The question i put to me fellow shrimpers is this; What punishement should they face? It's easy to say, king step down, BUT, howabout, as a sign of good faith, and also as a thank you for our support all season how about the club laying on free coaches upto oldham for the final away game of the season?

i would rather the clubs money was ******* on effective stewarding and policing, than free coaches.

Come on guys, we want to celebrate the TEAM's achievements on the last day of the season - if you want to do that then take it outside the ground, please?

Yeah thats cool... Will still bang the drum and support the team... Just think when its finished we should get these 2 mugs out of this club...

OK OK, how about this; King and Jobson out, AND free coaches to Oldham!!!

Certainly has! the comments from King are now in the Echo for all to read what a bad bunch WE all are in the stands!!! GO NOW you are a waste of oxygen who I wouldnt trust to sit the right way on a toilet seat!!

Indeed, none of this is the team's fault and they deserve a good send off for the season.

A protest outside would be a good way to get the supporters voices heard.

The other thing that would make the club sit up and listen would be if they're profits were hit. It could be suggested that fans boycott spending any money at the game. No food/drink, no programmes, no merchandise etc. Just a thought, then the team still gets the fan's support but get to make a point.

Also I would hope someone from SZ / Blue Voice / Supporters Trust gets in contact with the Echo to put the fans view across. They should oblige as a running story would boost their sales.

Sounds like someone's just a bit skint and doesnt want to pay the ludicrous £66 quid train fare from London I was quoted!

LOL!!! got to try ain't ya!!! ******* a shed load on saturday, only to be accused of causing trouble!!!

Go to The Zone End of Season Bash at the Spread early

Two great points. Boycott merchandise/food/drink & someone should definately get in touch with the Echo to let them know how we feel, and maybe anounce we plan to protest?

I want King to go its not just his but past events too

Correct
Protest at last game of season... KING & JOBSON OUT!!!

Correct

Sorry I diagree there, the club including the players have **** on the fans one to many times, the only thing we could celebrate is the fact we didn't go down

They both seem to forget that sitting in the wrong is illegal as I found out at Donny so to ban sufc fans for defending there end is utter rubbish bring on the next two games to show him what we think.

But I still love you old blue babe

Thats not a bad idea

the club would take notice

NO spending at the club on saturday

I agree.....I came up with this idea in the shower this morning see what you think.

Geoffrey King is to be made to strip down to his underpants at the top of Pier Hill. He then must stuff streaky bacon, cumberland sausages and maybe the odd steak down his pants.
Very much like the open top bus promotion parades of the past the fans could line the streets. I would expect a police corden may be nessecery.

At a pre-agreed time (Say 6pm) after the final home game of the season Geoff King has to run bare foot down Pier Hill and along the seafront. Exactly two mins (Gladiator style) after Geoff King starts running a pack of 431 dogs (A dog to represent each angry post on Shrimperzone) of varing sizes and breeds also start running. These dogs would not have been fed the night before so would be ravenous. Dogs of season ticket holders in the West would of course be given priorty.

If Geoff King can get to a pre-agreed point before the dogs then fair call. If he cannot then the dogs smelling the meaty snacks in King's briefs take revenge on our behalf leaving King in no uncertain terms about our upset over the poor stewarding arangements.

Thoughts please?
