Haven't done this for a few weeks... and I know it's not a Thursday but feck it

Saw these lot on Sunday, they have reformed and being only 6 when they were at their peak I didn't quite know what to expect.. except that it would be loud, and i was right! they hit 130db at the end and my eyes and tongue were shaking... people were being sick and it was like being immersed in sound, you could almost see the sound waves

Here we have My Bloody Valentine with Soon. Noise pop just doesn't get any better

for a pretty good quality recording of what they are like when really really really loud! here

I remember seeing them back at the Town & Country club in about 1991. I walked out feeling dazed and as if my ears were bleeding. I'm not actually sure if I enjoyed the gig or not.

The albums were pretty bloody good though

My mate went to see them at the Roundhouse a couple of weeks ago and said it was amazing, loudest thing he's ever heard even with earplugs in.

Apparently it's the same as having a jumbo jet in the room, or so i'm told.

Would love to have seen them :'(

honestly thats the only way i could describe it. Kevin Shields was using 16amps FFS!!! there was a bit in "Nothing Much to Lose" where for the first time the noise kicked in and it was literally like they had just wheeled a jet engine onto the stage and turned it on full blast. the noise went straight into you and i could feel my clothes flapping and whole body shaking

definitely will go again if they do another tour!
