Pubey... how did you..

did you watch the new series last night? what did you think of it?

A bit ridiculous.... I didn't enjoy it as much. Have spoken to kids at school about it today and they too think it has just turned into a comedy rather than what it used to be.

Funny, but a different type of program to before.

I agree, although the last series of Skins did get a bit depressing towards the end when Chris died. They needed some humour, but the teachers in that (especially the one that kept screaming) were really annoying. I will give it another week though!

I actually thought it was good. yes it seemed a bit comedy, but then so was the 1st episode in series one. Ardel O Hanlon is brillaint as a depressed teacher, but yes, that teacher screaming was annoying. Harry Enfield was excellent as Jim Stonem as always.

I imagine the series will get darker, but you they would want you to get to know the characters first before making it darker.

I've always liked Skins for the way it is written and the hidden metaphors.
For example, your first day of school/college, is always a bit light hearted etc, just as the episode was.

yeah thats true actually, episode one of previous cast was hilarious, and then it did get so depressing. They all look a lot younger in this cast as well.
