PS3 Information needed

Ok - christmas shopping time.

I am getting my bf a PS3 for xmas. I have realised that the 60GB one is better than the 40GB mainly for the reason that you can play PS2 games on it still.

So basically I am getting the 60B one preferably with Pro Evo.

I cant seem to find a deal where I can get the 60GB console and the game thrown in, I think I will have to buy the console seperately as well as the game.

Does anyone know the best place to buy for deal and/or price etc.

Any info would be very helpful.

And if you dont want all that stuff included, buy the package and sell what you dont want on ebay. It may work out cheaper than buying it separately.

For £449 and as I say, if you dont like all that sell what you dont want on Ebay. Motorstorm and Resident whatsit are pretty good tho.

however are you sure at PES2008?! it's been slated by critics and friends?! One guy bought a PE3 for the PES2008 and he refuses to play it as it is that bad!

Your friend is a fool, Mark. Online is a pain at the moment and the frame rate on replays is a joke but the in-game engine is as polished as ever and it's a definite step-up from Pro Evo 6. Konami are supposed to be working on a patch to iron out the few issues that there are with the game.

I've gor Pro Evo 7 and FIFA 08 on the PS3 and whilst FIFA looks amazing, Pro Evo is by far the better game.

Are you for real Pro Evo is rubbish! Go for Fifa 08. Why waste your money on a half hearted football game. Fifa 08 all the way. A much better game. Better graphics. Better game play, and you can be Southend United!!!!!

Thats good. I got Fifa 08 for the PS3 off HMV for under £30 but am yet to try it out.

Yes...on the Sinclair Spectrum....:D

Only joking (they never released it).....yes I have played it on the PS2. We have a few versions (well my kids do). I have done reasonably well albeit my 10 year old can beat me (sometimes) so I wouldnt say I was that good.
