Professional Photographers

Does anyone know of any cheap/reasonably priced professional photographers with a studio in the local area? (as in Southend area)

The old dears been on about it for ages about getting a family photograph so I thought I'd pre-plan this one as a christmas pressie. Blimey, I'v never been this organised, what has got into me!

All suggestions welcome.

I can recommend Paul Veitch who has a studio along the London Road opposite the KFC near the top of Hamlet Court Road; long-standing family friend, although I very much doubt that would get you a discount as I haven't seen him for at least eight years!

Thanks XS, I'll pay him a visit. Purely looking for ball park figures at the moment so if he makes the grade I'll barter for the discount afterwards!

I've used them before for some pics of my little boy - not cheap but very very good. I'm looking for exactly the same thing for a xmas pressie as well so please post or PM any very good deals!!

I'm gonna try the place in Debenhams as well as think a bit cheaper and quite good...!!

He doenst have a studio, but has all the equiptment (ie drops etc), and will bring it to your house for no extra charge (if you live in southend), which i found better in a way, as i felt a lot more comfortable being in my own home.

Did some wonderful photo's of my son, and us three as a family. The cost wasnt too bad either, very reasonable infact.

Also he is a thoroughly nice chap, and is very good with getting your kids to smile etc (and jack being 1 and half at the time was being a right sod!).

Definatly would recomend him, worth dropping him an email at the very least.
