Press Reports

We're getting press all over the world

On the website of my local paper here in Brisbane - The Courier Mail -

http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/story/0,23739,24871378-5003412,00.html

Third-tier Southend held out for over half an hour at Stamford Bridge, before falling behind when Salomon Kalou headed in a Frank Lampard corner.

However, they levelled in the 90th minute as Peter Clarke marked his 27th birthday with a goal.

"We need people to score more goals," Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari said after his first taste of FA Cup action.

"The result says it was not a good performance but we had 15 chances to score a goal."

Southend boss Steve Tilson added: "We've had a good Cup run but I am more focused on our league game against Crewe now."

Any other exiles seen us mentioned in far flung places?

Opps...already a thread covering this. Mods - might be an idea to merge this with the Press Reports thread.

News of the World have now published their report.

Gotta love the NotW today, the pic that Ayrshire has as his avatar is their front page of Score, the match is the first one inside with the headline Prawns 1 Shrimps 1 (ok, I know that's not quite right!) and then they have a pic of Clarkey scoring then another of him "celebrating" with the fans, only the 2nd one is Adam Barrett! Did they not notice one is bald?!! :D

Oh, and Clarkey is their MOM and makes it on to their Team of the Day so well done to him.
