Prediction League News Prediction League 2008-09

Mr. Benedict

The Devious Badger
Afternoon Chaps and Chapesses.

The new season is but a week away, and therefore this PL will restart next week, with six matches up for prediction. The format will largely be the same as last year, with a couple of minor changes to the points scoring system but I will post up full details - and recap the rules for those that didn't play last season - next week.

Will Blueblood make it two in a row?

No because he is short and smells of Nappies............Looking forward to the new season Ben:)

no he won't. if he takes the lead i shall cut his fingers off so he can't pred and then i don't have to listen to him harping on about it.

This season is the season of the RICE MAN! Bring it on bitches.

Blimey Ben you are going to be busy mate. This is a very healthy kick off with so many people taking part..

I know John. Sunday morning is going to be a mass of excel spreadsheets I reckon!

Still, the more the merrier, that's what I say! :)

I finished quite high last season, but I don't think I'll be too bothered this year in trying to do as well as possible. As good as extra points opportunities are, I don't see myself having the time to consistently post first goalscorers, choosing wildcards etc. I liked last season's simple format as it'd take 2 minutes to make 6 predictions.

Good to see so many people taking part though, you do a great job with it.
