Prediction Cup the PLAN

The Prediction Cup will run on much the same format as last year, whereby indivual predictors will be drawn against other individuals and compete in a knockout competition.

As a predictor you don't need to do anything different, the score for your predictions will double up for both League and Cup.

In the event of a draw a replay will be played the following week, if still undecided then a "penalty shoot out" type formula will be used, details at the time, if and when required.

We have allowed four rounds which can accomodate up to 64 predictors but this can be amended if more or less than 32 take part.

Following the dates set in the Prediction League thread the Cup plan is:

Week One - Anyone who predicts in the Prediction League will automatically be entered into the Prediction Cup.
Week Two - Prediction Cup Round 1
Week Three - Round One replays if needed
Week Four - Prediction Cup Round 2
Week Five - Round Two replays if needed
Week Six - Prediction Cup Round 3
Week Seven - Round Three replays if needed
Week Eight - Prediction Cup Round 4
Week Nine - Round Four replays if needed
Week Ten - Prediction Cup Semi Finals
Week Eleven - Semi Final replays if needed
Week Twelve
Week Thirteen - Prediction Cup FINAL
Week Fourteen - Final replay if needed

This is the general plan, it could of course be amended in the case of postponements etc.

I hope all is clear, the cup competition has proved very popular in the past, hopefully most weeks there should be some cup activity
