What is it with the bloody Post Office?
I have been in the long process of getting a passort for a couple of weeks now and Post Office have just buggered it up. Firstly its cost me 70 quid to get which in my opinion is awful. Once I had everything together I went to the PO to post it off when they offered to check it for me for 7 pound (why is that so expensive too?) I thought I better as I'm going on holiday at Christmas and didn't want to take the risk of taking longer. They said everything was fine but i begrudgingly handed over my 7 pound and waited, today, 2 weeks later, I recieved a letter in the post saying that there is a mistake on my form and that i need to rectify it. :fury:

Well you should have checked it yourself as well as asking them to check it. I mean before you shag a girl you always check her out you don't just f*ck her do ya!*

Nice analogy!

Josh, don't blame the PO for the cost of a passport, blame the Passport Office & the Government!

Do you ask them to complete a full medical before they're allowed anywhere near you? Bet that kills the passion..... (I sense thread diversion)....

From post offices to sex education......fantastic......

Surely you can get your £7 back from the post office? The idea is they check it so errors dont occur. If it does have errors having been cleared as ok by the PO and you cant get your money back (atleast) whats the point in that....you might aswell just send it off and hope for the best....

that is what im trying to say but people seem to think that its my fault* not the Post office's.

* it is partly my fault

And the article indicates that you can get yer money back.

After which you can pop along to the chemist and buy your choice of "toothbrushes".....:p

70 pound for the passprt itself and 7 pound to check. I will be asking for a refund and will probably buy myself a burger king before work with the money
