Come on let's have some realistic targets, like

Nick Fenton (left Morecambe in the summer, played under Penney at Doncaster)
Lewis Guy (at St Mirren last season - played under Penney at Doncaster)
Ricky Ravenhill (at Bradford last season - """")

Surely no target is realistic, due to the fact that we are under an embargo and if you are a player looking for a club you would prefer one that doesnt have money troubles constantly and one that pays its staff....we would be a last resort for many.

I really hope not !!!
Always chatting to my neighbour about SUFC over the garden fence.
Lovely man , but cannot pronounce the letter 'R' properly - always comes out as a 'W'.
Ricky Ravenhill would make life difficult.

We have had money troubles over the last 3 season and we have still managed to sign players. There are hundreds of free agents out there who would rather be in a job that might pay late than not be in a job at all.

As for realistic, do you mean realistic for a normal person or from Brown's point of view?

No prizes for guessing who your next door neighbour is....

Must be Jonathan Woss

Lewis Guy ripped us apart when we played Domcaster in the championship season. Would love to see him here, my MK Dons supporting mate was disappointed with him though.

John White - local - can play anywhere along back line, been released, is local and not a massive earner (plus has been with you lot on loan before)

I agree with this. Late payment of wages is not a good thing - but neither is it the "crime of the century" as some people make out.

Plenty of ex-Donny players out there - one player I liked the look of was Bobby Grant at Rochdale (when we were comprehensively beaten there at the end of last season) ............... but defenders and midfielders are a higher priority at the moment.

John White would be an adequate replacement should Clohessy leave. Played in League One for long enough, been with us before, versatile and if I remember rightly he said his parents were Southend fans or something like that.

Seen to recall hs Girlfriend at the time MAY have been from this area.

Neal bishop? just mutually terminated his contract at notts county!
All action midfielder who is very experienced in league 1! 31 years old and would possibly be on reasonably small wage as he was late to the pro game.

Although mentioned on football rumours, Lewis Montrose could be a target/decent signing. Central midfielder, tall with a few goals in his locker.
