SOUTHEND XI | Bentley, O'Neill, Bolger, Barrett (C), Coker, Payne, Wordsworth, Atkinson, Timlin, Hunt, Barnett.

Subs | Smith, Thompson, Deegan, Worrall, McLaughlin, McQueen, Mooney

No changes then and Mrs Hunt will have to hang on by the looks of things.

Right, all set here.

Munchies in place.

Radio on.

Hull City v. Sheffield Wednesday on the box with the sound on mute.

Play-offs here we come!

I wonder if we'll come out and try to steamroller them in the first ten minutes, like we did against Burton? I suspect not. So, same team, different tactics. Will it be the full diamond or will we fill the defence....?

There has been a bit of chat on the pre match thread, but no one is offering up anything explanatory.

I can - we are allowed 7 subs and have the below. Not sure which I would drop to put him in. If one of the last 4 were unavailable I am sure he is next in line.

Smith, Thompson, Deegan, Worrall, McLaughlin, McQueen, Mooney

Team news: Blues unchanged for Vale clash

SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has selected an unchanged starting line-up for tonight's clash at Port Vale, with Noel Hunt continuing in attack.

Any idea what has happened to Loza? Is he still suffering from that headache?

Don't think so, and he did travel with the rest of the squad tonight. I can understand no changes, but these are the kind of games that make me fret, Cokes has just come back from a long lay off and makes his third start in 11 days.....fingers crossed.
