Pop's

Nick's Anderson just popped to remarkable bowling and superb stamina and celebrated by being called up to the S.A. U-19 team. Will screw his league and SZ Cup chances though as his fitness will be shot!

Just the one for me this week

Carl Schoeman (1063884)

An attacking player with mediocre leadership skills and worthless experience.

Not due anything next week, unless Schoeman pops in batting. But I'm then due 11 pops in the 6 weeks after that, so my team should then look a lot healthier.

He desperately needs fielding to up his cons, but you are looking at another 2 seasons until he'll be anything near useful.

BTW Mrs BB was gutted to lose in the end but was quite pleased to run you so close considering her Morale is shot to bits.

My all-rounder popped bowling

Batting: quality Concentration: quality
Bowling: superb Consistency: strong

Also my 2 fitness trainees who are 21 just popped to respectable on Stamina, i have an inclination to stop at that and start on another youth protégé, and use those 2 free training slots for him.

My all rounder popped,

Terry Boateng (503084)
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, low
A defensive player with worthless leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Southend United
Nationality: England
Age: 20 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 36,721
Wages: £4,596 p/w

Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: strong Concentration: respectable
Bowling: superb Consistency: respectable
Fielding: superb

Wondering whether it will be worth taking him up to superb/quality or just leaving him on a stamina net and using the other 3 on training a bowler

Following on from his Batting pop last week my Opener/WK:

Glenn Toulson (789224)
A destructive player with strong leadership skills and woeful experience.

I know that he is useless until his stamina gets to a decent level, and that'll take about 3 seasons, but I think he's pretty good and close to popping to proficient if someone who understands the wage calculator could help with that please.

And I decided to leave Boateng on a bowling net and stamina net to free up a couple of nets.

Can't be far from proficient but that stamina is a killer. Going to take a net away from someone for a long time to get it up to speed.

Could be trained for profit - 1 bowling, 1 fielding and 1 fitness for 6 weeks and you'd sell him for 1.5m.

However checking by the wages, he might be only about half-way to proficient bowling, as he also has Comp W/K.

This fella runs out this time tomorrow and is upto £102,000 already if anyone wants him ...

:D

If it was a V team I could maybe understand it, but a IV team that's crazy.

BTW can someone keep YB informed of his score tomorrow, as I'm not going to be about much.
