Im getting pressurised by the new U19 gaffer to put him on a WK net. Im not overally keen on the idea, as he is already getting 2 x batting and 1 x fielding and i need Waterhouse (1 x batting, 1 x fielding, 1 x stamina) & Deane (1 x batting, 1 x fielding, 1 x bowling) to be continiously trained! The other net is now on Cavanagh (another 17yo batter)

Ignore him, bearing in mind there are 18yo's who are turning quality at the moment, there's bound to be 19yo's that are high end remarkables out there, even in the Windies. Many people are putting 3 batting nets on trainees these days to try to get an U-19. Sookram may get in but as proven with Plummer a couple of seasons ago, unless they actually do anything useful you don't get much XP benefit out of it anyway.

Too true and i have told him that. He has told me Sookram has a very good chance of making the squad, which i dont quite believe. I never intended for him to play international cricket, i just want/ed him to be a blooming good batter for my side and the likes of Waterhouse & Deane will hopefully follow in his foot-steps!
